Course Description:

Falls from heights cost more than just compensation for injured workers. They take an emotional toll that reduces morale and affects everyone. Statistically speaking, falls from elevations represent one of the greatest hazards in the construction industry.

In this  course, participants will acquire a general understanding of fall protection systems.  While various fall protection options exist, this course will identify which options best meet your business’ needs, and provide tools and knowledge to work at height safely.

This program is certified by the Fall Protection Group.  Participants who complete the comprehensive training will receive certification from the training agency that is valid for 3 years.

This course is delivered to a specific provincial regulation.  Once this program is completed and certification is received, participants may register for and complete additional provincial accreditations by using the online endorsement service. These accreditations will provide participants with knowledge related to a selected jurisdiction and will allow you to add multiple provincial endorsements to your fall protection certification.

Note:  Fall Protection Comprehensive has replaced the previously offered Industrial/Commercial Fall Protection - End User course.  If you have already completed the End User course, your certification is still valid for 3 years from the date of completion, at which point you will need to complete this comprehense program to receive certification.

This course has been approved by the Homeowner Protection Office (HPO) for seven and a half (7.5) Group A points towards Continued Professional Development (CPD) upon successful completion.
