Join the VRCA

Who can join the VRCA?

If you are a General Contractor, Trade Contractor, Manufacturer and Supplier, Allied Services, or a student of construction you are eligible to join the VRCA. We also offer Associate Memberships to companies that work directly with the construction industry such as law and architectural firms.

Membership Cost

Annual fees are based on your company's annual business volume (gross revenue), and you will be asked to choose from one of the following groups;

General Contractor:                                                    Trade Contractor & Manufacturer and Supplier:

     $0 - $500,000:  $1020.00                                          $0 - $500,000: $1020.00                                                                                        

     $500,000 - $2,000,000: $1544.00                             $500,000 - $2,000,000: $1282.00

     $2,000,000 - $5,000,000: $1922.00                         $2,000,000 - $5,000,000: $1544.00

      $5,000,000 & over: $2306.00                                   $5,000,000 & over: $1922.00

 

Student: $50.00

Allied Services: $1282.00

Associate Membership: $453.00

Associate Membership is offered to architectural firms, engineering firms, design firms, training institutions, construction associations, government agencies or municipalities NOT actively engaged in the construction industry as a General Contractor, Trade Contractor, Manufacturer & Supplier of building materials, tools or equipment.  Such members will be non-voting and will not be affiliated with BCCA nor CCA. Such members will have access to member rates for events, the Electronic Planroom (ePlan), publications and affinity programs such as the Employee Benefit Plan offered by VRCA.

  • General Contractor

    A general contractor is a group or individual that contracts with another organization or individual (the owner) for the construction, renovation or demolition of a building, road or other structure. A general contractor is defined as such if it is the signatory as the builder of the prime construction contract for the project. The general contractor could be the worker himself. Workers wages may vary from a few thousands to several millions.

  • Trade Contractor

    A Trade Contractor undertakes to execute a specialized work of construction or a portion of an overall work of construction. A Sub-contractor who specializes in a particular aspect of a construction project, such as electrical, plumbing, or painting. Trade Contractor fees range based on the Company's business volume.

  • Allied Services

    Allied Services include Bonding & Insurance companies, Accountants and Lawyers.

  • Manufacturer and Supplier

    A Manufacturer and a Supplier is engaged mainly in the manufacture, sale or supply of materials, equipment, products or services used by General Contractors, Trade Contractors and Manufacturers and Suppliers.

  • Student

    Students can now take advantage of the VRCA and all of its membership benefits. Network with top construction professionals, upgrade your construction skills with VRCA education, take advantage of the VRCA affinity program and save big. Student Membership costs $50.00.
