Who can join the VRCA?

The VRCA serves the non-residential construction industry, and our membership consists of union and non-union general contractors, trade contractors, manufacturers and suppliers. We also offer membership to students of construction and allied services, such as insurance brokers, who work closely with the construction industry. Join the VRCA now!

Can an individual join the VRCA?

No. Membership in VRCA is strictly corporate, with the exception of the Student membership.

How do I sign up to become a member of VRCA?

The application for membership is online in the Membership section of the website. You will need to fill out the application form and pay by credit card to complete your membership. You will receive your receipt by email, and you will also receive your login and password that will allow you to access ePlan, register for events and courses, and get additional discounts. What are the benefits of membership?

Most companies join the VRCA in order to access BidCentral (online planroom), which is a members-only benefit. Other membership benefits include networking opportunities, education, industry news, the BCCA Group Benefits Program, and member discounts.  For complete list of benefits click here.

What is BidCentral? (formerly the Electronic Planroom)

BidCentral allows members of the VRCA to search for and view construction projects that are out for tender in British Columbia. BidCentral gives VRCA members access to hundreds of construction opportunities digitally, and allows users to use extensive search functions and take-off tools to help them in the bidding process. If members would like to view any documents attached to each project they can subscribe to Enhanced BidCentral for an additional $690.00 per year. Click here  for more information.

How can I get access to BidCentral?

All VRCA members get access to BidCentral. By becoming a member you will get access to BidCentral and be able to search for construction projects throughout BC. If your company is already a member of VRCA, have them add you as an employee to obtain login information.

Can non-members still come to events and courses?

Yes! Most VRCA events and courses are open to non-members; however, non-members will not qualify for a member discount on registration. Click here to view the Calendar.

How can I get the VRCA eNewsletter?

If you are currently a member of VRCA, and you are in our database as an employee, you should receive our bi-weekly newsletter via email. Non-members can also receive our eNewsletter by signing up to receive the newsletter on our homepage. The eNewsletter  is also available on our website under News & Media.
