The U35 Executive Committee and the VRCA Board of Directors is calling for nominations for the position of U35 Representative on the VRCA Board of Directors. Normally, this role would be held by the U35 Chair; however, Justin Mattiloi is unable to fulfill this position as he has been relocated to Vancouver Island. Justin will continue on as U35 Chair.
The VRCA Board of Directors meets monthly, and the U35 Representative will act as a liaison between the Board and the U35 Executive Committee. This is a non-voting role that will sit on the Board until the VRCA AGM in January 2011.
The U35 Executive Committee will review the nominees and select the U35 Representative at the next Executive Committee meeting on Thursday, May 20th, based on the following criteria;
1.
Must be a member of VRCA and the U35 Network
2.
Attendance at executive committee meetings and events
3. Commitment to the U35 Network over the past year
4. Great communication and interpersonal skills
5.
Strong knowledge of VRCA and its vision and goals
6.
Strong knowledge of the U35 Network and its vision and goals
7.
Ability to attend all Board and U35 Executive Committee meetings in 2010
